HOS clocks are the main way drivers track their work time, manage fatigue, and stay within regulations.

GPSTab tracks all four HOS clocks:

Break/Rest Clock: A 30-minute break is required after 8 hours of driving. This break may be taken as On Duty (not driving), Off Duty, Sleeper Berth, or a combination of these duty statuses.

Driving Clock: A maximum of 11 hours of driving is permitted, after which a 10-hour break in Off Duty and/or Sleeper Berth status is required.

Shift Clock: A 14-hour on-duty window is allowed, after which a 10-hour break in Off Duty and/or Sleeper Berth status is required.

Cycle Clock: Drivers are limited to 70 working hours (On Duty + Driving) over an 8-day period. To reset the cycle clock, the driver must complete a 34-hour reset while remaining in Off Duty status.

Driving time starts automatically when the vehicle reaches 5 mph, ensuring accurate logs.

Admins can view Approaching Violation alerts to plan routes and rest schedules more effectively.

These features help your fleet stay safe, efficient, and fully compliant.
