The Personal Conveyance (PC) and Yard Move (YM) modes in GPSTab let you move your truck in specific situations without using up your driving time.
Personal Conveyance (PC) is for off-duty personal use - for example, when you’re done working and need to move your truck to a nearby location.
However, always check and follow your company’s policy for when and how you can use PC or YM
If your company has enabled PC, you’ll see the Off Duty (PC) button in your app. Turn the engine on and tap it to activate.
The system turns the PC off automatically if it detects engine activity, such as starting or shutting down. There’s no speed or time limit for PC.
Yard Move (YM) is for moving your truck on-duty within a yard or terminal.
When using YM, your truck’s speed is limited to 20 mph. If you exceed that, GPSTab automatically switches you back to Driving.
YM also turns off automatically when you stop and turn off the engine.
If you don’t see PC or YM options in your app, contact your company - these modes must be enabled by your administrator.
Always follow your company’s policy for when and how you can use PC or YM.
